Password set up or reset

Get access to your LSBU IT account, Moodle, Library account and email.

Please note: All passwords expire after 180 days so you will need to regularly re-set your password

OneDrive is a web-based file storage system that provides 1 TB (Terabyte) of online storage space and is part of Microsoft Office 365.

Reducing your profile size

If you have received an amber warning, your Computer Profile is over 200MB. 

You need to move or delete certain files that you have stored on the university network.

Please remember to keep your password secure - do not share it with friends or family. These resources are for your use only.

*There may be a 24hr delay following enrolment before access to the Library and the Moodle VLE are activated.

Free Software Downloads for Students

Free Software Downloads

While you are an LSBU student you get selected licensed software for free.

This includes: Microsoft Office 365, MATLAB, NVivo, MindManager and SPSS.
You can download these to your own suitable devices.The software is available to download from our Moodle site.
You will be asked to self-enrol on the site the first time you use it.

Assistive Technology Software for students wide

Do you want to know what Assistive Technology software is available on Campus?

Dragon Software

Dragon is voice recognition software. You speak to the computer and it follows your commands allowing you to navigate the screen without the use of a mouse. Dragon can be used by anyone who would prefer to say their ideas as opposed to type them.

Available in all of our Assistive Technology Rooms in the Perry Library.

Screen-reading and magnification program for blind or partially sighted users.

Available in Assistive Technology Room 1 on level 3 East of the Perry Library.

ClaroRead Plus icon

ClaroRead Plus

Literacy support software that can help with proofing, understanding and checking text onscreen. You can read any on-screen text out loud and enables scanned paper books and documents to be read aloud.

Available on all PCs across campus.

MindManager icon


Mind mapping package with many uses; planning assignments and projects, exam preparation, collaborative working.
Also available to download and use on your own PC or laptop. Click on image.
