Create folders and share them with others

You can create multiple folders in RefWorks. This can help you to organise your references by class, assignment, or essay. You can also share your references with other people in LSBU and give them the ability to add and edit references in designated folders.

Creating folders and assigning references to folders

 Click on the ‘My Folders’ link on the left hand side and you will then get an option to add a folder. You can then name and save it so that it will be ready for you to import your references into.

You can also assign your imported references to these folders by selecting them first, then clicking on the folder symbol at the top of the screen and afterwards by clicking into the box next the folder that you want to import the references into. Finally, click ‘Apply’.
