When you arrive at the Perry Library
When you have gone through the entrance gates, you will need to complete a Covid Track and Trace form. Please ensure that you follow all safety notices, wear a face mask that covers your nose and mouth at all times, wash your hands regularly, use the hand sanitiser provided, and keep at least 2 metres apart from all other people.
Cleaning materials will be provided for you to wipe down the surfaces and equipment in your study area before and after you use it. There will also be increased scheduled cleaning of the building by the cleaning team.
The water fountains will be available for those who need drinking water but you must bring a water bottle or cup to fill from the fountain tap. No drinking directly from the fountain will be permitted.
Returning Books and DVDs You Have On Loan
We know many of you have books on loan from us which you no longer require and would like to return.
We're happy to say the Library is now able to take book returns and you can do this:
- By dropping books in the Book Returns Bin outside the Perry Library entrance doors - this means you don't even need to come into the Library to return books. Library staff will be checking this returns bin regularly and removing any items from borrowers records.
- By post. You can returns items to us by Royal Mail where you can print a postage label using our Freepost Service
