Visiting Havering Campus Library
At present due to the COVID-19 situation we still have social distancing in place. This is reducing the capacity of the library so please only visit us if you really need to use our study spaces, equipment or resources for your course
We strongly recommend you also take advantage of the quick COVID tests, which are available at our test centre on Rotary Street on Southwark Campus. These tests can be booked online.
There are currently changes to how you access study spaces and increased safety measures in the building. Please pay attention to the following information.
All of these changes will be subject to continued monitoring.
Before your visit to the Perry Library
You must read the Staying Safe On Campus guidelines.
If you are displaying any symptoms of COVID, are feeling unwell or have come into contact with anyone that has tested positive or thinks they have COVID do not come to the library or campus, seek medical advice immediately.
During your visit to the Library
If you develop COVID symptoms on campus, you must report to nearest reception straight away (reception will support and advise you) and then go home.
After your visit
If you develop COVID symptoms within 14 days of having been on-campus, please report this to LSBU's Central Reporting Hub - email@example.com - giving your name, student ID, and phone number.
When you come through the entrance gates, you will need to complete a COVID Track and Trace form. Cleaning materials will be provided for you to wipe down the surfaces and equipment in your study area before and after you use it. There will also be increased scheduled cleaning of the building by the cleaning team.
The water fountains will be available for those who need drinking water but you must bring a water bottle or cup to fill from the fountain tap. No drinking directly from the fountain will be permitted.
We know many of you have books on loan from us which you no longer require and would like to return.
