Student IT Support Guide: Welcome

Essential Upgrade Maintenance

In order to continually improve the University’s IT security and system reliability IT Services will be carrying out an essential maintenance upgrade between 7:00am and 9:00am on Tuesday 11th  August 2020.

Services affected include:
- Student Emails
- Office365 services (Including MS-Teams, Yammer)

Windows Accessibility Options

Did you know you can alter the Accessibility Options on your Windows PC?

Did you know that in Windows 10 you can make onscreen text bigger and brighter? 

Did you know that you can change the mouse pointer and the cursor size? 

Have you heard of the Ease of Access Centre? 


You can find the Ease of Access Centre in Settings in Windows 10.  There you will find these tools and other options – magnify all or part of the screen, try different colour filters or high-contrast schemes, use Windows Narrator to have things read out to you.
